five hungry joes - promo ep
released: october 30, 1995
CD5: UK 1995 (Go! Discs TCMCD1) {Nothing on CD, no sleeve} *+
2:41 No Gasoline
4:07 Mr. Grisly
3:47 Aberration
4:22 A Boy And A Girl
4:34 I Must Fly
* Note: Each member of the band takes a stab at singing one song each. This is not an official release, although each song later showed up on different official releases. The disc has a plain white cloth sleeve and the discs are not stamped. 150 of these were given to trashcan mailing list moderator by Go!Discs and TCS. He generously distributed them to the list members free of charge. The supply has since run out.
+ Note: This was scheduled to be an official release according to "Bigwig" magazine, a Scottish monthly music publication. Presumably the A to Z tour which the band embarked on the following day was intended to promote the EP.

the genius i was - promo
released: december, 1995
CD5: UK 1995 (Go! Discs GENIUS 1 1038 8631 01) {PROMO - Black cardboard
cover with white writing} *
3:05 The Genius I Was
2:49 How Can I Apply (Live at T in the Park)
* Note: This promo was distributed at the first of two of a season of four gigs played by the band in December 1995. At the first show (at the 13th Note) the promos were only given out to people who bought a season ticket for all four shows but at the second (at the Whisky Bar) they were given out to everyone attending the night. Presumably supplies were exhausted here because at the third show (the 13 Note again) they were not distributed.
